Read the right display
- Total Speed
- The accumulated counter for growth measurements.
- Level
- A separate progress bar, not a movement setting.
- Custom Speed
- The visible movement control and current maximum.
Accumulated Speed tracks growth. Level has a separate progress bar. Custom Speed is a separate movement setting with a visible current value and maximum. Do not mix total Speed with movement advice. Keep a simple practice note with three entries: the displayed Custom Speed setting, the jump you chose and whether the landing was short, on target or long. Repeat before deciding that a setting is better. A change that helped one jump may feel different on another section, so there is no need to present a single number as the best setting for every player.
A repeatable jump test
- Locate the separate Custom Speed control and distinguish it from total Speed and Level.
- Record its current value and choose a short jump to repeat.
- Test a small lower value within the maximum shown in the current game.
- Repeat the same jump, changing one variable at a time until control feels comfortable.
Short of the key
Keep the takeoff point consistent and repeat before making another change.
On the key
Repeat at this setting to see whether the landing is comfortable and reproducible.
Past the key
Try a smaller movement adjustment while keeping the same approach.
The value did not change
Check whether you are reading total Speed rather than the movement setting. Stay within the maximum shown by your current UI, read the control prompt and recheck the displayed setting before changing it again. If the control does not appear to accept an entry, read its current on-screen prompt and limit first. Check the displayed value after trying a change. This guide does not promise a particular keyboard shortcut, touch gesture or hidden command because those controls were not established in the checked material. Continue from what your current interface actually displays.
If the number keeps growing, check whether you are watching accumulated Speed instead of the movement setting.
If the jump still overshoots, reduce the adjustment size and keep the approach consistent; this is practice advice, not a confirmed bug fix.
Common mistakes during practice
- Measuring the growing Speed counter instead of checking the movement control.
- Copying another account's maximum, which may differ from yours.
- Judging a setting from one miss instead of repeating the same approach.
Choose the same short jump for repeated practice. Record the current setting, lower it by a small amount you choose and try again. Change one variable at a time so the result tells you something. The Speed Calculator answers a different question: how long your accumulated total may take to reach a target. To use it, record the change in accumulated Speed over a timed interval. Do not enter the Custom Speed value as your observed gain. If you accidentally mix the two, even correct arithmetic will describe the wrong task.
Common questions
Is Custom Speed total Speed?
No. The matching footage shows separate movement, accumulated Speed and Level displays.
What setting is best?
No universal number is supported. Use small changes on the same jump for your current situation.
Why does my maximum differ from a video?
A video shows one account snapshot. Read the current maximum in your own game.
Should Custom Speed go in the calculator?
No. Enter accumulated Speed gained during a timed sample.
